Step One
Parent Intake Appointment
Our initial intake interview is an opportunity for me to meet with you personally before spending time with your child. This allows you to talk openly and confidentially about your concerns and questions. I will get your permission to gather information from teachers, therapists, and other professionals who work with your child. We will also discuss the possibility of a school observation. The intake appointment will last approximately 60 minutes.
Step Two
Testing
Testing is either completed over the course of a full day or during multiple shorter sessions depending on the age, attention span, and needs of your child. The assessment will include a developmental history.
Step Three
Feedback Conference
Approximately 2 weeks after testing is completed, an in-person feedback conference is scheduled. We will review the key findings of the evaluation and recommendations. An in depth written report will be provided. The feedback conference will last approximately 60 minutes.
